Privacy policy
What stays on your device
Saved properties, saved searches, recently viewed properties, the inquiries you sent, the contact details you typed into a form and the last downloaded set of listings (so the app opens without a connection) are stored on your device only. They are not sent to us and we cannot read them. You can erase all of it at any time under Account → Delete everything on this device.
What you send to us
When you send an inquiry, ask a question, offer a property for sale or book a viewing or a call, we receive the name, email address, phone number, message and property you entered, together with the date and time. We use this to answer you and to arrange the appointment. An agent may contact you by email, phone or WhatsApp. The data is stored in our property system, which International Tech operates on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We keep inquiries for as long as we are in contact with you and as long as local law requires us to keep business records.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, we store your email address, your name if you gave it, and your password in encrypted form. On your device only a session token is kept, never the password. Signing out deletes the token from the device. You can delete the account itself at any time under Account → Delete my account; we then remove your name, email address and phone number from our records.
Who else receives data
- Our own server, which delivers the listings and receives your inquiries.
- OpenFreeMap, when a map is shown, for the map tiles.
- Bunny.net, our content delivery network, for property photos.
These providers see your IP address because that is how the internet delivers a file — nothing else is passed to them. If you open WhatsApp, a phone call or our website from the app, the app hands you over to that app or browser and their own terms apply.
What we do not do
No advertising, no advertising identifiers, no analytics or tracking software, no profiling, no sale of your data. The app does not ask for your location, your contacts, your camera or your photos.
Your rights
You can ask us what we store about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Write to am@instyleinvestments.com and we will answer. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection apply to you, and you may complain to your supervisory authority.
Children
The app is meant for adults looking for property. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version appears here and in the app with a new date.
